Want to suggest that people use images for patterns, so can create a beautiful graph
Next Edge is meeting in Montreal, 11th to 14th
Open Source Circular Economics event happens 11th to 15th
People will have some challenge, e.g. a bio composter, or an electric bike, or looking a democracy
Each person can send in project, and put it on the federated wiki, then have a challenge to look at a pattern
If they find that pattern relevant, may relate to projects or other patterns
Design solutions and the challenges
Human Ecosystems, Salvatore
Having some problems installing it (PHP on Digital Ocean)
Have written some pages on that in the federated wiki
Like a mini-NSA-in-a-box, scraping conversations in Twitter, Instagram
Uses natural language processing, geolocates them -- Where are conversations around topics?
Logs into database
Creates 4 or 5 nice visualizations
Want to take some of this data, use graphing of data in social media, and federated wiki to see that a conversation started in Berlin, and went elsewhere related to a challenge
Ward has been working with Max on scientific data sharing, Dat + FedWiki
Work on this over 2 days, should spend another 2 days working on that
Another colleague works on an earthquake site, he's already done that, may help with searching
Organize a hackathon in Oregon?
Portland is big
Would like to get good at distributed event
Chaos Computer Club in Berlin, at the end of August
Ward and Max had done it with Mozilla Science Camp, they decided to do it as a pair
